The World Urban Forum held in June 2006, had a profound theme: “Turning Ideas into Action”, and the UDF Integrated Development Plan (IDP) for the period 2016 - 2022 focuses on translating our Municipality Strategic Vision into action. This thrust is based on the realisation that the alignment between vision, strategy and actual delivery ought to be optimal.
