Odysseus Technologies has invented two technologies. One involves growing long, strong, pristine carbon nanotubes (CNTs) thereby improving dramatically the quality and usefulness of CNTs. The second uses a treatment to increase significantly the tensile strength of a macroscopic filament of CNTs. These two technologies are necessary and sufficient to begin a CNT revolution enabling a world where steel is replaced with lightweight, strong CNTs.
