Proper Course & Co. makes performance footwear for the sartorially inclined - using sailing to communicate our brand message. Our initial plan is to target the billion dollar + sport sandal market. The category has been stagnate for years - products are poorly designed, materials are basic and brand inspiration is limited. We're looking to reinvigorate the category and attract a different demographic by offering products with a focused design language, performance roots and an aspirational sailing story, but package it for a fashionable lifestyle consumer.
